Ok - whenever someone suggests that we should start the sailing season early, my initial reaction is "are you nuts? - Don't you know that it will be wet, windy and cold?" As we are all aware, these are conditions that Bermudians try very hard to avoid!

Roll on to March 7th, 2009. Blue sky, light wind, 7 boats on the line, close racing.. It couldn't have been better (there weren't even any collisions!)!

As Bob has said in an earlier note, the wind was light enough to provide a few head aches. Jordy definately did seem to have the knack of hitting the left hand side and riding a private breeze to the top but probably the best outcome was having three different race winners!!

The long range forecast for Saturday the 14th is for 10-15 from the East clocking to the south west. At last check - we might have 8 boats with Blitz coming out to play as well! Should be great!!
