2009 Annual General Meeting - synopsis
Minutes of AGM will be posted shortly - here is a synopsis of meeting.
Slight drop in total revenues due to Race Week 2008 expenses that could not be allocated to individual participants - to be corrected for 2009
Discussion on boom replacements deferred to Skippers/Owners meeting since there are financial implications.
New Bermuda Sailing Association (governing body for the sport of sailing in Bermuda) structure. Fees, $7 per annum to be collected through classes and clubs. All members of the IOD Class will automatically be membersof the BSA.
New RBYC Sailing Schedule for 2009. Condensed modular units with weeks when there will be no scheduled sailing. Schedule will be posted when finalised by RBYC
Class agreed to support additional sailing days that would not be part of the RBYC schedule and which points would not count towards the seasons overall champonship title.
Class agreed to higher profile social programme incuding fun races followed by on-the-water-raft-ups
